Jordanian researcher Mohammad Manaseer, has successfully developed an artificial intelligence algorithm for the early detection of breast cancer.
Manaseer , In a phone interview with Petra, said that the new artificial intelligence algorithm is able to read x-ray images and early detection of breast cancer in a matter of seconds with an accuracy that exceeds 96 percent.
Deep learning is one of the branches of artificial intelligence that allows the machine to learn by itself from data analysis by simulating the cells and neural networks in the human brain, according to Manaseer.
Manaseer was appointed at the National Taipei University of Technology-Taiwan, as an assistant professor for his excellence worldwide in scientific research.
