The Ministry of Planning and Development condemned the Swedish authorities for allowing an extremist to burn a copy of the Holy Qur'an.
In a statement, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Ministry of Planning considered this crime a blatant provocative act against the feelings and beliefs of Muslims, and a reprehensible violation of all international norms and laws.
The statement called for official and popular Arab and Islamic sites to respond to these provocative behaviors by the Swedish authorities.
