The Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company, on Thursday, said that the fire that erupted in four oil pipelines in port city of Aqaba was caused by a leak of liquefied petroleum gas at one of the loading platforms in the city.
The company, in a statement, said that the fire was extinguished by its own equipment at the beginning, as the Civil Defense Department (CDD) firefighters have put out the fire completely in a very short time.
