Palestine requests an emergency meeting of the Arab League Council regarding the crimes of the occupation in Gaza


Cairo – Together – The Permanent Representative of the State of Palestine to the League of Arab States, Ambassador Muhannad Al-Aklouk, announced that the State of Palestine has submitted a request to hold an extraordinary session of the League Council at the level of permanent delegates as soon as possible, to discuss the Arab movement, especially in light of the continuing crime of genocide and the starvation policy that Committed by Israel and forced displacement against the Palestinian people.

Ambassador Al-Aklouk said, in a statement to Wafa Agency, today, Monday, that the State of Palestine submitted a request to hold the meeting, to discuss the Arab and international movement in light of the ongoing Israeli threats of an imminent invasion of the city of Rafah, which is home to more than 1.5 million displaced persons and Palestinian citizens, in addition to the intransigence and refusal. za Strip, the latest of which is Resolution No. 2728, which called for an immediate ceasefire during the month of Ramadan.

He explained that the Council will also discuss Israel’s failure to comply with the temporary measures ordered by the International Court of Justice on 1/26/2024 and 3/28/2024.
