Amman:The Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDC) announced that it received 2,539 applications for its subsidized housing finance program during a one-month application period that concluded on September 30.
According to Jordan News Agency, this Cabinet-approved initiative aims to assist low-income families by providing subsidized financing options through accredited lenders for purchasing, building, or expanding homes. The program will support 1,000 families over four years, selecting 250 applicants each year based on specific eligibility criteria.
Specialized committees within the HUDC, including screening, qualification, and audit teams, have started the process of reviewing and verifying applications to ensure a transparent and organized evaluation.
