Oman’s Higher Education Minister receives UJ president

President of the University of Jordan (UJ), Natheer Obeidat, met with Oman’s Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Rahma bint Ibrahim Al Mahrooqi, for a discussion on aspects of cooperation between the two parties.

The meeting was held as part of the UJ’s Arab Council for Training and Student Creativity visit to Oman.

The visit aims to enhance cooperation between the Council and higher education institutions in the Oman, especially with regard to training opportunities exchange programs and offer them on a larger scale for students of Arab universities.

During the meeting, Obeidat said that the UJ was and still is an incubator and supporter of this important council because of the important activities it provides for students of Arab universities.

He welcomed the admission of a larger number of Omani students to the university and briefed the minister on its accredited academic programs at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels, in addition to the UJ’s centers and their roles and responsibilities.
