No Unfit Olive Oil Found at National Festival, Agriculture Minister Confirms.

Amman: Minister of Agriculture Khaled Hneifat said that no instances of unfit olive oil were found on the National Olive Festival. Hneifat emphasized that all olive oil permitted into the festival undergoes multiple levels of testing to ensure its quality and integrity, underscoring the festival management’s commitment to maintaining public trust in the products showcased.

According to Jordan News Agency, the substandard olive oil identified on Tuesday evening was intercepted at the festival’s entry gate. The oil was flagged by monitoring teams, who sent samples to the testing laboratory, the Ministry of Agriculture stated in a statement on Wednesday.

The ministry clarified that none of the unfit oil made it onto the festival grounds.
