The National Center for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM) Wednesday carried out an exercise to test the health emergency response plan at border crossings.
The exercise was implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, the Royal Medical Services, the National Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases Center, the World Health Organization and the International Organization for Migration.
Deputy Chairman of the NCSCM Brig. Gen. Hatem Zoubi said that this drill aims at enhancing preparedness and plans under the center’s 2017 national plan to address epidemics, noting that the plan frequently undergoes updates to achieve integration between stakeholders.
