The speaker of the US House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, has met the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, in Kyiv.
Pelosi said Ukraine was fighting for everyone’s freedom and US support would continue “until the fight is done.”
Pelosi was in Kyiv with a delegation of US lawmakers.
The visit came days after President Biden asked Congress to approve $33bn in aid for Ukraine.
