The Moroccan health authorities Tuesday said they had recorded the first COVID-19 Omicron death, according to the Maghreb Arabe Press (MAP).
MAP reported that the Moroccan health ministry said the number of Omicron infections has gone up, adding that around 4,300 COVID-19 cases were recorded in the last 24 hours.
