Moderate weather forecast over weekend

A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Thursday, so moderate weather conditions will prevail across the Kingdom, with low clouds in the northern and central regions, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.

At night, the weather will turn to be relatively cold in most areas, with light winds, the JMD added.

Over the next two days, similar fair weather conditions will continue to persist nationwide, with southeasterly moderate winds, the forecasters predicted.

The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom on Thursday will range between 21 and 24 degrees Celsius, dropping at night to 15C or even 10C in the southern highlands. In the Gulf city of Aqaba, it will be hotter with mercury reaching a high of 32C and a low of 22C.
