Ministry Announces Open Applications for Romanian University Scholarships

Amman: The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced on Wednesday the opening of applications for scholarships offered by the Romanian Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade, which span across Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate levels.

According to Jordan News Agency, the scholarships cover a wide range of fields, including Economics, Business Administration, Agricultural Sciences, Technical Sciences, Oil and Gas, and advanced medical specialties like Emergency Medicine and Cardiology for the academic year 2026-2027. The ministry also mentioned that additional fields of study might be considered by the granting agency depending on the available resources at Romanian universities.

The scholarships offer several benefits, including coverage of tuition fees, preparatory year fees, university accommodation, a monthly stipend, and health insurance. Courses will be conducted in Romanian, with an option for students who are not proficient in the language to enroll in a preparatory year before beginning their academic programs.
