Minister Radaideh Engages in Mediterranean Green Business Network Launch

Amman: Minister of Environment Muawiyah Radaideh on Tuesday participated in the opening session of the launch ceremony for the “Green Forward – Strengthening Business Networks in the Mediterranean Region” project. The initiative aims to enhance cooperation in tackling global challenges such as climate change and the depletion of natural resources.

According to Jordan News Agency, on the sidelines of the event, Radaideh engaged in discussions with Pierre-Christophe Chatzisavas, Head of the European Union Delegation to Jordan; French Ambassador to Jordan, Alexis Le cour Grandmaison; and General Manager of Expertise France, J©r©mie Pellet. He emphasized the importance of ongoing collaboration between Jordan and the European Union in environmental protection. Radaideh highlighted the need for regional projects that address environmental challenges, support a transition to a green and circular economy, and boost the competitiveness of the private and industrial sectors in global markets.

Radaideh also met with the French Ambassador to explore cooperation opportunities in the environmental sector, aligning with Jordan’s Economic Modernization Vision. He underscored the robust bilateral relationship between Jordan and France.

In another meeting, Radaideh conversed with Lebanese Minister of Environment Tamara Zein. They reviewed mutual environmental priorities and stressed the significance of sharing expertise and bolstering bilateral cooperation to advance environmental protection efforts.
