The Ministry of Water and Irrigation, in cooperation with the Public Security Directorate (PSD), detected a theft case on Disi water conveyor pipeline in southern Qatraneh area.
In a statement on Wednesday, the ministry said it removed the illegal fixture used to fill tanks, adding that efforts are continuing in cooperation with the relevant security authorities to arrest the perpetrators.
The water pipeline was repaired and infrastructure is now operating as normal, the ministry said.
