Beirut: Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati has issued a warning concerning ongoing Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement, citing a total of 60 breaches. Mikati highlighted these violations during a Cabinet session on Tuesday, expressing concerns about the potential resurgence of tensions in the region.
According to Jordan News Agency, Mikati emphasized the importance of maintaining the recently established ceasefire, stating, “In the past two days, the ceasefire has been firmly established, and we hope this will lead to lasting stability. However, we remain concerned and caution against breaches that could bring us back to a state of tension.” He underscored the significance of the Arab resolution in supporting the ceasefire, noting its potential to influence diplomatic and political strategies aimed at fostering rational and pragmatic responses to the evolving situation.
