King Saud University, represented by the College of Sports Sciences and Physical Activity, is hosting the Fourth International Conference on Sport Sciences and Physical Activity titled “Sports Tourism and Adventures – Economic Vision” today in Riyadh.
Dean of the College of Sports Sciences and Physical Activity and conference Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee Dr. Tariq Al-Salhi told Saudi Press Agency that the two-day conference will bring together a group of international and local scientists to participate in discussions on various fields of sports tourism.
The conference will present important issues, such as logistic services in sport tourism and adventures, marketing and sport tourism, outdoor adventures, sustainable sports economics, infrastructure in sport tourism, technology and communication in sport tourism, recreational sport tourism, safety and security in sport tourism and adventure, and therapeutic sport tourism.
Al-Salhi thanked President of King Saud University Dr. Badran Al-Omar for his constant support for all events and activities organised by the College of Sport Sciences and Physical Activity, the first scientific pillar of sports in the Kingdom, which has contributed to the development of various sport fields at local, regional and international levels.
