Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II and Kuwait Emir Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, during a phone call on Wednesday, discussed the current developments in the region. The leaders focused on the importance of regional security and the necessity to address ongoing tensions.
According to Jordan News Agency, the call highlighted the need to halt Iran's attacks on Jordan, Kuwait, and other neighboring countries. Both leaders expressed support for utilizing dialogue and diplomatic channels as the primary means to resolve conflicts and foster peace in the region.
During the conversation, His Majesty King Abdullah II shared insights from his recent tour of Gulf states, underscoring that the security of the Gulf is pivotal not only to regional stability but also to global peace. He highlighted the interconnected nature of security across the region and the world.
The King also expressed concern about the potential exploitation of the current developments to limit access for worshippers to Al Aqsa Mosque and to create changes on the ground in the West Bank and Gaza.
