Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II on Monday departed for Egypt to attend a trilateral summit with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi and French President Emmanuel Macron. The summit aims to address the developments occurring in Gaza.

According to Jordan News Agency, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II was sworn in as Regent, with Cabinet members present during the ceremony. The discussions in Egypt are expected to focus on the critical situation in Gaza and potential collaborative efforts between the involved nations.
