Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II and US Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem engaged in discussions on Tuesday regarding the enhancement of cooperation between Jordan and the United States. The meeting, attended by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, focused on building upon the existing strategic partnership to serve mutual interests and contribute to regional stability.
According to Jordan News Agency, King Abdullah II highlighted the significance of Jordan's participation in the Global Entry programme. This initiative is designed to expedite entry processing procedures for enrolled travellers with visas or permanent residence permits to the United States, reflecting the strong relationship between Jordan and the US.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh, Interior Minister Mazen Farraya, Jordan's Ambassador to the United States Dina Kawar, and US Ambassador to Jordan James Holtsnider, along with the accompanying US delegation.
