Amman: Total trading on the Amman Stock Exchange reached JD 8.1 million Tuesday, with 4 million shares exchanged across 3,545 transactions. The general share price index closed at 3,445 points, reflecting an increase of 0.41 percent.
According to Jordan News Agency, the services sector index experienced a rise of 0.83 percent, the industrial sector gained 0.34 percent, and the financial sector showed an increase of 0.23 percent. Out of the 105 listed companies traded, 39 companies recorded price gains, while 24 companies saw their prices decline.
