Amman: The Czech government has provided a grant to the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) to equip it with medical devices and equipment aimed at improving cancer treatment.
According to Jordan News Agency, the donation is set to enhance the treatment infrastructure and improve the quality of healthcare services for cancer patients in Jordan and the surrounding region. The signing ceremony of the agreement was attended by Her Royal Highness Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Center (KHCC), alongside representatives from the Czech Embassy in Amman.
The agreement was formalized by Sylva Pavlasov¡, Charg© d’Affaires of the Czech Embassy in Jordan, and Nisreen Qatamesh, Director General of KHCF. Qatamesh highlighted that this partnership is expected to elevate the center’s medical services and bolster comprehensive healthcare for patients.
Pavlasov¡ reiterated her country’s dedication to supporting Jordan’s healthcare sector, emphasizing that the donation aims to expand the center’s capacity to manage the growing number of patients. She also commended the professionalism and commitment of the center’s medical staff in delivering optimal treatment to all patients.
