Jordan’s Civil Defense Handles 1,669 Incidents in 24 Hours

Amman: Jordan’s Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) managed 1,669 incidents over the past 24 hours throughout the Kingdom.

According to Jordan News Agency, during this period, the CDD responded to 1,480 emergency situations and 89 rescue incidents consecutively. The teams also extinguished 100 fires, maintaining an average response time of approximately 7.5 minutes.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the directorate indicated that the average response time for emergency cases was 7:36 minutes. Meanwhile, the response times for rescue missions and firefighting efforts were 7:34 and 7:35 minutes, respectively.

The CDD emphasized its readiness to provide humanitarian and operational services, highlighting that its personnel are working continuously to ensure a rapid response and maintain the safety of citizens.
