Amman: Co-founder and CEO of the EVO application, Ibrahim Al Bawaliz, said the company has developed a Jordanian model for managing electric vehicle (EV) charging through the application.
According to Jordan News Agency, Al Bawaliz stated that EVO was designed to provide an integrated experience that combines multiple services in a carefully crafted interface, centering the user in the process. He mentioned that the team prioritized delivering a user-friendly experience in both design and development.
Al Bawaliz elaborated that the app is part of the company's vision to create a smart, unified network for charging electric vehicles in Jordan. This initiative serves as a launch pad for a future global application that aligns with the latest EV technologies.
He explained that the app allows users to instantly check charger availability and enter their vehicle type, enabling the system to filter compatible chargers automatically. This feature saves time and effort while avoiding unsuitable options.
Al Bawaliz highlighted the app's competitive edge, which includes the ability for users to remotely monitor charging sessions and access a detailed record of past operations. This feature enhances transparency and aids users in managing their energy consumption efficiently. Additionally, the app provides information on available facilities at each charging station and allows users to filter based on these amenities.
He pointed out that one of the app's key features is its interactive map, which allows users to locate all charging stations easily and identify the nearest compatible one with a single click. This reflects a thorough understanding of user behavior and needs.
Al Bawaliz shared that within just one and a half years of operation, EVO has integrated hundreds of chargers into the local market. The app has recorded more than 800,000 charging sessions, with total energy usage exceeding 10 million kilowatt-hours, all without service interruptions. He noted that these figures demonstrate not only high usage but also the platform's technical maturity and operational stability under heavy demand.
