Amman: The Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF)-Arab Army, in collaboration with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Air Force, executed a new series of airdrops aimed at delivering relief aid to the residents of the Gaza Strip. This operation is part of the ongoing humanitarian efforts by the Kingdom to support Palestinians amid challenging circumstances in the region.
According to Jordan News Agency, the operation was executed using two C-130 aircraft from the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) and its Emirati counterpart, in coordination with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO). The airdrops successfully delivered 16 tonnes of food and baby formula across various areas of the Gaza Strip, increasing the total aid delivered over the past few days to approximately 73 tonnes. This distribution follows a mechanism designed to ensure the efficient delivery of aid to those in need.
The JAF has reported that it has carried out a total of 130 aid airdrops independently, in addition to 270 joint airdrops conducted with the support of various Arab and friendly countries. These efforts are part of a larger integrated strategy to provide ongoing support to the Gaza Strip.
