Amman: Jordan University Hospital (JUH) has taken in 14 children from the Gaza Strip to provide treatment for various ailments affecting their heart, kidney, urinary tract, bones, and digestive system. This initiative is part of a comprehensive humanitarian effort spearheaded by His Majesty King Abdullah II to help alleviate the suffering of civilians in the Gaza Strip.
According to Jordan News Agency, the arrival of these children is a continuation of the medical support extended by the Kingdom to Gaza. The children are part of a larger group evacuated by the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF)-Arab Army as the 27th batch under the "Jordanian Medical Corridor" initiative. This latest batch included 42 children and 75 companions, who have been distributed among various hospitals in Jordan for further treatment.
Dr. Nader Bsoul, the Director General of Jordan University Hospital, emphasized that the reception of these children underscores the Kingdom's commitment to fulfilling Royal directives aimed at supporting the people of Gaza. He stated that the hospital is fully utilizing its medical and human resources to provide comprehensive healthcare that meets the highest approved standards. Under King Abdullah II's leadership, Jordan remains dedicated to its humanitarian and medical mission of receiving and treating children and wounded individuals from Gaza.
Dr. Bsoul also highlighted that the hospital is committed to offering the necessary healthcare and maintaining close monitoring of medical cases to ensure the completion of treatments.
