Algiers: The Jordan Exports company took a significant step in promoting the country's industrial and service sectors by organizing Jordan's participation in the 57th Algiers International Fair. The national pavilion, managed by Jordan Exports, featured eight Jordanian companies during the exhibition held from June 22 to 27.
According to Jordan News Agency, a company statement released on Monday detailed that the Jordanian pavilion included companies engaged in raw materials, chemical industries, and plastics manufacturing. It also featured representatives from the hospital and medical tourism sectors. This participation aimed at strengthening the presence of Jordanian products and services in regional markets while exploring new export opportunities.
The Algiers International Fair was inaugurated by Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, with Jordan's Ambassador to Algeria, Ahed Sweidat, and other senior officials, diplomats, and representatives from both the public and private sectors in attendance.
Jordan Exports emphasized that this participation is part of its broader efforts to support Jordanian businesses in expanding into overseas markets and increasing export opportunities for various sectors. Such efforts are expected to contribute to higher Jordanian exports and greater market diversification, particularly in both traditional and emerging markets.
The company further highlighted that the participation aligns with the Economic Modernization Vision and the National Export Strategy. These initiatives aim to enhance the competitiveness of Jordanian exports, open new markets, expand the exporter base, and strengthen the national economy through wider international market access.
