Jordan Records Coldest Temperatures of Season

Amman: Director General of the Meteorological Department (JMD) Raed Khattab announced that Jordan experienced a sharp drop in temperatures on Tuesday morning, with some weather stations recording the lowest surface temperatures of the season.

According to Jordan News Agency, the JMD’s report indicated that Al-Shoubak recorded the lowest temperature at -10.2 C, followed by Al-Qatraneh at -8.5 C and Ma’an at -7 C.

In lower-altitude areas, Wadi Al-Rayyan recorded the coldest temperature at -1.8 C, demonstrating the widespread impact of the cold air mass across the kingdom, including the Jordan Valley.
