Minister of Education Wajih Owais on Sunday discussed with his Palestinian counterpart Marwan Awartani ways to further strengthen relations and cooperation between the two countries, mainly in educational fields.
During the meeting, Owais pointed to efforts made by the ministry to prepare a comprehensive plan for developing education in line with the objectives of the National Strategy for Human Resources Development 2016-2025, indicating the ministry’s readiness to provide its expertise to the Palestinian side to improve its educational process and activate the joint education committee.
For his part, Awartani said that the Palestinian Authority is mulling a new educational reform and development plan, calling for boosting cooperation with Jordan to benefit from the Kingdom’s expertise in the areas of the national center for curriculum development and general secondary examinations.
