Jordan, Morocco Discuss Cooperation and Regional De-escalation Efforts

Amman: Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi held talks on Monday with Morocco's Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad, Nasser Bourita, on ties and efforts to end regional escalation. During a telephone call, held as part of ongoing coordination and consultation between Jordan and Morocco, the top diplomats said they are committed to advancing cooperation across various sectors, reflecting the depth of longstanding relations between the two kingdoms.

According to Jordan News Agency, Safadi and Bourita reviewed efforts to halt the dangerous regional escalation and restore sustainable calm through comprehensive solutions that address the root causes of tensions. The ministers called for continued coordination in addressing regional challenges, underscoring solidarity in confronting threats to Jordan and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.
