Amman: Jordan's Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship announced that Jordanian citizens living abroad can now access electronic notary services remotely, a move aimed at streamlining digital government access for the diaspora.
According to Jordan News Agency, citizens can utilize these services by activating their digital identities and digital signatures through the "Sanad" mobile application. Users are required to obtain a digital signature PIN and create an account on the Ministry of Justice's electronic services portal.
The initiative allows Jordanians to complete legal transactions from any location without the need for physical attendance at government offices or embassies. The ministry added that the rollout is part of a broader national strategy to accelerate digital transformation, reduce administrative hurdles, and save time and effort for citizens residing outside the kingdom.
