Jordan Dispatches 50 Humanitarian Aid Trucks to Gaza.

Amman: The Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), in collaboration with the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF)-Arab Army, has sent a new convoy of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. Supported by the World Food Program (WFP), the convoy set out on Saturday, aiming to provide much-needed relief to the region.

According to Jordan News Agency, the convoy consists of 50 trucks loaded with essential supplies, including food, medical items, health supplies, and ready-to-eat meals. These resources are intended to reach the relevant authorities in Gaza, ensuring they are distributed to those most in need.

Dr. Hussein Shebli, Secretary-General of JHCO, emphasized that this effort reflects Jordan’s steadfast commitment to supporting the people of Gaza. He highlighted Jordan’s leadership in backing the Gazan community and noted the ongoing collaboration with both local and international organizations to deliver humanitarian aid to the Palestinian enclave.

Shebli also provided an update on the aid efforts to date,
revealing that a total of 4,326 trucks have successfully entered the Gaza Strip. Additionally, 53 aircraft have landed via EL Arish, and the JAF has executed 124 airdrops in collaboration with Arab and friendly nations. Furthermore, eight aid helicopters have been dispatched as part of the ongoing relief operations.
