Istanbul:Amman The Jordanian Businessmen Association (JBA) and the Turkish Embassy in Amman have reached an agreement to revitalize the Jordanian-Turkish Business Council. This initiative aims to enhance bilateral trade, investment, and economic connections between the two countries.
According to Jordan News Agency, JBA Chairman Ayman Alawneh and Turkish Ambassador to Jordan Hakan Kara§ay discussed the preparations for the council's forthcoming meeting. Scheduled for early October in Istanbul, the meeting will gather private sector representatives to explore joint ventures and commercial opportunities.
Alawneh highlighted the council's role as a crucial platform for direct business communication. The council seeks to facilitate trade, promote mutual investment, and open new markets for Jordanian and Turkish companies, with the goal of transforming potential opportunities into tangible economic projects.
Ambassador Kara§ay expressed Turkey's commitment to strengthening economic relations with Jordan. He noted that the Istanbul meeting will serve as a forum for private sector dialogue, highlighting priority investment sectors and fostering stronger partnerships between the two nations' business communities.
