Amman:The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) general index closed Monday at 4,171 points, showing a slight decline of 0.12 percent, with a total trading value of JD25.5 million.
According to Jordan News Agency, a total of 12.5 million shares were exchanged in 5,040 transactions.
The services sector index experienced a rise of 0.37 percent. In contrast, the industrial sector saw a decrease of 0.20 percent, and the financial sector fell by 0.15 percent.
Out of 106 companies whose shares were traded, 34 recorded price gains, while 42 saw a decline.
