Amman: Amman Mayor Yousef Shawarbeh met with Sudanese Ambassador to Jordan Hassan Saleh Suwar Al-Dahab to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation between Amman and Khartoum. Shawarbeh expressed the municipality’s commitment to enhancing ties, supporting joint initiatives, and leveraging municipal expertise to promote sustainable development, improve services, and raise citizens’ quality of life.
According to Jordan News Agency, the Sudanese envoy commended Amman’s efforts in building partnerships with sister cities. He noted the municipality’s progress in municipal, urban, and cultural sectors, as well as its infrastructure development plans and service enhancement projects. The ambassador expressed his government’s readiness to further cooperation and exchange expertise for the mutual benefit of the two cities.
