Amman: An Iraqi delegation, in cooperation with the Public Security Directorate (PSD), visited the Judicial Institute of Jordan (JIJ) to explore the Kingdom’s legal expertise and its advanced experience in the field.
According to Jordan News Agency, during their tour of the JIJ’s headquarters, the delegation was briefed on the institute’s primary objectives and the mechanisms it employs to fulfill its vision, including a digital learning platform and an e-library. Dr. Nashat Akhras, the Director of JIJ, highlighted the strong, brotherly relations between the two countries and their commitment to enhancing judicial cooperation.
Dr. Akhras expressed the institute’s readiness to share its training expertise with the Iraqi delegation, emphasizing that the JIJ has previously conducted numerous training courses for Iraqi judges. Members of the visiting delegation lauded the Jordanian judiciary’s experience and reputation, expressing their eagerness to deepen cooperation and tap into Jordan’s expertise in judicial training.
