Jordan Agriculture Ministry and AMIDEAST Collaborate to Enhance Staff Skills

Amman: Minister of Agriculture Saeb Khraisat on Wednesday met with AMIDEAST CEO Greta Holtz to discuss strategies for enhancing joint cooperation in capacity building and skill development for the ministry's workforce.

According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting, held in Amman, focused on the importance of these programs in improving employee efficiency and performance. Both parties highlighted how such initiatives positively impact the quality of institutional work and enhance communication with international partners.

Khraisat commended AMIDEAST's contributions to supporting national institutions and reiterated the ministry's dedication to investing in human capital. He emphasized the significance of developing staff skills to benefit the Kingdom's agricultural sector and ensure food security.

An existing agreement between the ministry and AMIDEAST facilitates eight levels of English language training for 200 ministry employees, underscoring the ongoing commitment to skill enhancement and capacity building.
