Milan: Issa Abdelhadi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Jordan National Packaging Center (JOPACK), participated in World Packaging Organisation (WPO) week events held alongside the “Ipack-Ima 2025” exhibition in Milan, Italy, at the official invitation of the WPO, the leading international body in the packaging sector.
According to Jordan News Agency, JOPACK stated that Abdelhadi addressed the WPO Board of Directors during its session, delivering remarks on the challenges and opportunities facing the Arab region in the transition toward sustainable packaging. He emphasized the importance of international cooperation in transferring technology and exchanging expertise.
Abdelhadi also took part in specialized working sessions focused on sustainability, food loss reduction, education and capacity building, and marketing and communication. He highlighted the need to modernize vocational curricula and align them with the rapidly evolving industrial labor market.
He further expressed JOPACK’s readiness to help transfer this experience to the Arab region, underscoring Jordan’s leading role in hosting advanced industrial and knowledge-based initiatives.
“Ipack-Ima” is one of the world’s largest exhibitions dedicated to packaging and processing technologies. It is held annually in tandem with the WPO’s activities, which showcase cutting-edge innovations and emerging trends in this vital industry.
