JMD expects cold weather throughout week

Cold weather conditions are expected to prevail on Tuesday in most regions of the country, except in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba where it will be pleasant, with clouds at various altitudes, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

At night, the weather will turn to be very cold, with cloudy skies and southeasterly light winds, the JMD said.

On Wednesday, similar weather conditions will continue to persist, with clouds at medium and high altitudes. In the evening, a weak chance for light showers of rain is also forecast in the eastern areas and some parts of the northern and central highlands, the department added.

Toward Thursday, cold weather will remain in much of the Kingdom, while it will be fair in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba, the forecasters further said.
