JIJ Collaborates with EU to Observe World Day for International Justice

Amman: The Judicial Institute of Jordan (JIJ), in partnership with the European Union, organized events on Thursday to commemorate World Day for International Justice. This initiative underscores JIJ’s commitment to bolstering the justice sector and reinforcing the rule of law.

According to Jordan News Agency, the event included dialogue sessions that focused on the origins of international criminal justice, the principles guiding the International Criminal Court (ICC), mechanisms for investigating global crimes, and the role of national judiciaries in supporting the international justice system.

Participants at the event engaged in discussions about the challenges of implementing rules of international humanitarian law. They also explored the role of national judiciaries in strengthening the global criminal justice system.
