JHCO Engages in Baku Dialogue on Missing Persons

Baku:The Secretary-General of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), Hussein Al-Shibli, participated in the fourth International Conference on Missing Persons held in Baku, Azerbaijan. This event is part of the "Baku Dialogue on Missing Persons," aiming to gather international experts to develop trust-building measures and practical mechanisms to address the issue of missing persons.

According to Jordan News Agency, discussions at the conference centered on the humanitarian impacts of the issue, emphasizing the importance of cooperation and expertise exchange to find effective solutions that uphold the rights of affected individuals and their families.

During a plenary session, Al-Shibli emphasized that resolving the fate of missing persons requires increased trust and cooperation among involved parties and the quick exchange of pertinent information. He highlighted the necessity of recognizing missing persons as individuals with rights, protected by law, rather than just statistics in reports. Al-Shibli underscored that humanitarian efforts should prioritize human dignity and translate institutional coordination into tangible outcomes.
