Amman: Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO) on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Jordanian Farmers Union (JFU) to enhance support for agricultural projects and promote entrepreneurship within the sector.
According to Jordan News Agency, the memo was signed by JEDCO’s Acting Executive Director, Dana Zoubi, and President of Irbid Farmers Union, Oudai Khasawneh. The agreement aims to activate joint partnership and cooperation to promote economic growth in Jordan’s agricultural sector.
The MoU focuses on supporting small and medium-sized agricultural projects, with a particular emphasis on the northern Irbid governorate. It seeks to foster a culture of entrepreneurship by implementing joint promotional activities to introduce and promote innovative ideas and opportunities in agriculture.
