Amman: Integrated Technology Group (ITG), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, has announced the launch of Version 8.4 of the national "Ajyal" platform, built on EduWave technology, marking another milestone in Jordan's ongoing digital transformation journey in education.
According to Jordan News Agency, the new release introduces a wide range of enhancements and updates aimed at improving educational and administrative efficiency, enhancing user experience, and strengthening data-driven decision-making across the Ministry, directorates, and schools.
Among the key updates is the advancement of the BTEC vocational education system through the introduction of new roles and permissions, improved management of programs, units, and reporting capabilities, as well as advanced reporting tools for stakeholders across multiple administrative levels.
The release also includes major enhancements to Grade 9 and Grade 11 student stream classification processes, enabling more structured academic and vocational pathway selection, electronic parent approvals, SMS notifications, and improved application tracking and management.
As part of ongoing efforts to support inclusivity and student services, the platform now includes enhanced student profile capabilities related to students with disabilities, contributing to improved data accuracy and more effective educational support services.
Additionally, Version 8.4 introduces significant upgrades to the school trips and visits management system by streamlining application, approval, and monitoring procedures across schools, directorates, and the Ministry, while enhancing governance and operational oversight.
Further improvements were introduced across school libraries, non-formal education, laboratories, permissions management, and reporting systems, alongside a range of technical optimizations designed to enhance platform performance and data quality.
Built on EduWave technology, the Ajyal platform continues to serve as a national enabler for educational digital transformation in Jordan by connecting thousands of schools through a unified platform that supports learning, administration, and data-driven policymaking.
