Israeli Occupation Injures 8 Palestinians in Jenin Camp

The Israeli occupation forces stormed Jenin camp on Tuesday, during which eight Palestinians were wounded by the occupation’s live bullets.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement that six Palestinians arrived at Jenin Government Hospital, after being wounded by live bullets in the extremities, during the occupation forces and special units’ incursion of the camp, while two injuries in the extremities also reached Ibn Sina Specialized Hospital.

Among the injured was a 68-year-old woman who was hit by a bullet in her hand, and a paramedic who was wounded by shrapnel.

Violent confrontations erupted between the Palestinians and the occupation forces, who stormed the camp. Special units also deployed inside a number of houses and on the roofs of buildings, while the occupation forces prevented the Red Crescent Society crews from entering the camp to transfer injuries, and fired bullets at an ambulance.

It is noteworthy that the occupation forces continue their escalation against the Palestinians in various areas of the West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem, which resulted in dozens of martyrs and the arrest of hundreds of activists and civilians.
