Israeli Airstrikes on Beirut’s Southern Suburb Kill 12

Beirut: Israeli warplanes carried out heavy airstrikes on Beirut's southern suburb on Wednesday night, amid renewed threats by Israeli authorities for residents not to return to the area. A Lebanese security source said the strikes targeted several locations, particularly the Mar Mikhael area, as well as sites in the Bekaa Valley and southern Lebanon.

According to Jordan News Agency, the attacks resulted in the death of 12 people and left five others wounded. The airstrikes have intensified concerns over escalating tensions in the region, as the targeted areas are known for their strategic significance.

The renewed threats by Israeli authorities have created unrest among residents, who are being urged not to return to the affected areas. This development follows a series of military actions and counteractions in the region, contributing to an atmosphere of heightened alert.
