Israeli Airstrike on Gaza Restaurant Results in 25 Fatalities

Gaza City: Twenty-five Palestinians lost their lives, and dozens more were injured Wednesday afternoon when Israeli aircraft targeted a crowded restaurant in the Al-Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City, medical sources reported. This incident contributed to raising the day’s death toll to 61 as Israeli strikes intensified from dawn.

According to Jordan News Agency, the Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip highlighted that the occupation forces conducted four massacres in the last 24 hours. The most recent attack was the bombing of a Thai restaurant in Al-Rimal. Earlier assaults included bombings of two schools that were serving as shelters for displaced individuals, resulting in numerous civilian casualties.

The Government Media Office accused Israeli forces of deliberately targeting restaurants, schools, and shelters to maximize casualties, labeling these actions as “a war crime and an extension of the genocidal war being perpetrated against the Palestinian people.” The statement from the office called for the international community to promptly intervene, ensure the protection of civilians, and hold Israel accountable for these alleged crimes through international judicial avenues.
