Irbid Authorities Clear 22 Street Violations in Commercial District

Irbid: The Public Health and Safety Committee in Irbid removed 22 street violations, including unlicensed stalls and sidewalk encroachments, during a field campaign in the city’s commercial district on Tuesday.

According to Jordan News Agency, Abdulrahman Abu Libda, director of markets at the Greater Irbid Municipality, stated that the campaign, led by Assistant Governor Ali Hawamdeh, aimed to ease traffic congestion and facilitate pedestrian and vehicle movement, especially during the busy Ramadan season.

He emphasized that the municipality will continue monitoring violations across its jurisdiction, including commercial markets and roundabout areas, to remove obstacles that disrupt traffic flow and pose risks to pedestrians and drivers.

Abu Libda urged the public to cooperate in maintaining clear sidewalks and roads, stressing the importance of respecting and preserving public property.
