Interior minister lauds Kingdom human potentials “capable of bringing about positive reform”

Interior Minister, Mazen Faraya, said that the Jordanian state is strong and coherent in terms of economy, security and community.

Speaking to a number of young men and women in the northern governorate of Jerash on Monday, Faraya said Jordan enjoys great human potentials capable of bringing about positive reform.

“Jordan will never be an umbrella for any corrupt or influential person,” Faraya emphasized.

In the meeting, attended by Jerash Governor, Firas Abu Qaoud, the minister underlined that the rule of law starts from the citizen’s commitment to laws and regulations, stressing that the government keeps the same distance with all citizens and cannot allow anyone to bully the rights of others.

Faraya promised to convey needs of the governorate’s youth in order to address them and provide the ministry entire capabilities to support the youth sector and hold dialogues with them in various governorates of the Kingdom to showcase their demands and needs.

The interior minister underscored the importance of economic projects in enhancing development, especially small and medium ones, for their role in providing jobs that reduce poverty and unemployment, adding that the government seeks to translate the citizen’s right to work by providing infrastructure and a safe and stable environment that encourages work.
