The International Food and Technology Expo (INFTEXPO) kicks off Thursday, bringing together local and foreign food companies to display their products to visitors and promote their business opportunities. More than 200 local and international companies in addition to over 16 Arab and foreign countries, will take part in the fair, which will be held at the Jordan International Exhibition Center at Mecca Mall. The 4-day expo is organized by Pulse International for Organizing Exhibitions and Conferences in cooperation with the General Association for Foodstuffs Merchants. Khaled Abu Hamad, Director-General of Pulse, said the exhibition is recognized as one of the biggest food exhibitions hosted in the Kingdom, highlighting the significant progress made by the food sector in the Kingdom in terms of the quality of imported or locally-made food products, according to a statement. Hamad pointed out that organizing exhibitions and events significantly supports various sectors, including tourism, transportation, restaurants, and hotels and serves as a platform to showcase Jordanian industrial products and boost their growth.
