Amman: Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Yarub Qudah emphasized the government's commitment to empowering the Jordan Exports Company to advance its strategic mandate in export development and trade promotion.
According to Jordan News Agency, during a meeting at the company's headquarters, Qudah highlighted the company's role as the promotional arm of the Kingdom's Chambers of Industry. He noted its importance in supporting national enterprises and facilitating their access to international markets. Qudah stressed the necessity of broadening the exporter base and unlocking new opportunities for productive sectors by targeting high-potential markets in East Africa, Canada, and Europe. This initiative is part of efforts to diversify export destinations and enhance the competitiveness of Jordanian goods and services.
Qudah pointed out that the partnership between Jordan Exports and the Chambers of Industry is a key pillar in implementing the National Export Plan, derived from the Economic Modernization Vision. He emphasized that this institutional integration strengthens coordination and translates policy objectives into measurable outcomes.
Chairperson of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry, Fathi Jaghbir, expressed full support for the company's efforts, highlighting its role in strengthening the export ecosystem and expanding international market access for national industries. He mentioned that the upcoming phase will involve intensified coordination to ensure sustainable export growth and expand the pool of exporting companies.
Chairperson of Jordan Exports, Maher Mutalka, stated that the company continues to develop specialized and innovative programs in cooperation with the chambers of industry. These programs aim to enhance export readiness, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises, and enable first-time entry into foreign markets. Mutalka believes these initiatives will contribute to building a broader and more sustainable export base, thereby reinforcing the national economy's growth and expansion capacity.
