India Offers Scholarships for Jordanians in Digital Economy and AI

Amman: The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the availability of scholarships for Jordanian students provided by the Indian Centre for Cultural Relations (ICCR) for the academic year 2026-2027.

According to Jordan News Agency, these scholarships are offered at Indian universities and encompass a wide range of academic programs and specializations, with a particular focus on the digital economy, artificial intelligence, and advanced technology. This initiative aligns with India's renowned expertise in these fields.

The ministry outlined the application process, indicating that interested applicants can submit their requests and obtain comprehensive information through the official website: (https://a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in). The scholarships provide a comprehensive package that includes tuition fees, a monthly stipend, health insurance, and university accommodation. The application period remains open until April 15, 2026.

Applicants are advised by the ministry to ensure that their chosen universities meet the accreditation criteria by visiting the link to recognized non-Jordanian universities: (https://rce.mohe.gov.jo/RecognizedUniversities). Additionally, students must adhere to the 2023 regulations for equivalency of non-Jordanian degrees and comply with the amended 2025 instructions.
